ANTOINE SITA
Recognized for his exceptional skill and innovative vision, Antoine Sita known as the Sapphire captivates audiences with his breathtaking artworks that shimmer with emotional intensity and cultural significance.
Born in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, he first registered for art classes at the National Painting School of Poto Poto in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo in 1978, while pursuing a law degree at the University of Brazzaville. Known as another Great Painting Master, the Congolese artist has exhibited his artwork in Nice, France during the Black Arts Festival with the Soffia Metropolitan Association; in Bordeaux, France; at the American Cultural Center in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo; in Lyon, France; Berlin, Germany and at the WHO ( World Health Organization) headquarters in Brazzaville. His distinctive painting style with large facial expressions often depicts ancestral and contemporary characters playing traditional instruments or performing traditional rituals.

PASCALINE MAKOUNDOU
Pascaline shines brightly in the Congolese arts, often referred to as the "pink diamond" of the artistic scene. She tells compelling stories that transcend cultural divides, fostering connection and understanding.

Considered one of the most famous female figures of the Congolese Artistic scene, Pascaline Makoundou started painting in the 1980s after watching a documentary on the late Dutch painter Van Gogh. Her instructor, the late Congolese Great Painting Master Michel Hengo, introduced her to a distinctive style where a cluster of colors represents female figures in daily Congolese society. Pascaline who champions herself as a spokesperson for women’s rights in the Republic of Congo always places the
Congolese woman at the center of every artwork she creates.

JACQUES ILOKI
Renowned for his unwavering dedication and meticulous approach, the exceptionally talented artist, often likened to the enchanting amethyst, creates vibrant and captivating paintings that beautifully reflect both aesthetic allure and profound depth.

Jacques Iloki is a Congolese artist born in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo. He started his studies in 1979 at the National Painting School of Poto Poto in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, before pursuing further fine arts studies at the Institute of Fine Arts of Sourkov in Moscow, Russia, in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. He is a renown Great Master in Painting, who has exhibited his arts at the City Hall of Brazzaville, the Francophonie Festival in Paris, France; American Cultural Center in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo; Brousseau Gallery in Marseille, France; Saint Cecilia Auditorium in Rome, Italy; Pierre Cardin Center in Paris, France and the Arts Club in New York City, USA.
Mr. Iloki is known for his impactful works, including "The Circle of a Woman" created in 2023, and "Return from the Farm" completed in 2024.

SYLVESTRE MANGOUANDZA
Celebrated for his remarkable vision and innovative techniques, he is often referred to as the Emerald captivates audiences with his striking and luminous creations that evoke a sense of harmony and balance.

Born in Mossaka, Republic of Congo, Sylvestre Mangouandza is a renowned Great Painting Master in the artistic universe of the Republic of Congo. He started his career at the National Painting School of Poto-Poto in 1983, in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo. His first successful artwork was captured during the Literary anti-apartheid symposium in 1987, in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, organized by H.E Denis Sassou N’GUESSO, President of the Republic of Congo. Mangouandza later went on to exhibit in 1989 at the BIZ Art in Geneva, Switzerland, the 5th edition of CICIBA ( International Center for Bantu Civilizations) in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo and recently at the 119th edition of the Paris Cultural Fair at Porte de Versailles in France. The artist has been awarded the Prize of Democracy at the 5th biennial of CICIBA and the grand prize winner of the Literary Anti-apartheid Symposium.

CYRILLE BOKOTAKA
Often referred to as The Red Beryl, Cyrille BOKOTAKA is celebrated for blending vivid colors with deep themes, using bold brushstrokes to convey emotion and energy.

Born in 1961 in Eboungou, Cuvette Region of the Republic of Congo, Bokotaka is largely celebrated as one of the most iconic artists of the National Painting School of Poto-Poto in Brazzaville. Renowned for his vibrant color palette, Bokotaka seeks to capture the everyday lives and challenges faced by contemporary Congolese citizens, addressing the tensions between traditional and modern issues. He has exhibited his prestigious work in the USA, China, Côte d’Ivoire, Russia, Belgium and France.
In 1994, he was granted the Commission for the European Union Prize. Mr. Bokotaka is also known for his exquisite exhibitions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Congo during international diplomatic summits in Brazzaville.

MPO GERLY
This gemstone of Congolese art captivates audiences with his stunning ability to blend vivid colours and deep themes in his artwork.His unique style, characterized by bold brushstrokes, conveys a powerful emotional resonance that draws viewers into a world rich with cultural heritage.

Born in 1962 in Ngabe ( Pool Department), Republic of Congo, Mpo Gerly is an expert in Congolese contemporary art, who addresses the daily issues of rural and market scenes, using a cubist and abstract style while meddling with ancestral experiences. Blue, a favorite color of Gerly Mpo, is considered to be an attachment to divinity and the after-sought peace that every human being searches for.The artist exhibited his paintings at the 2009 New York Arts Club in the USA; at a local festival in Bretagne, France organized by the Association la Petite Cité de caractère, in 2014; and in 2023 at the International Airport of Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, during the summit on the three ( 03) Basins.

ROLIAN OPOU ADAM
In the vibrant realm of Congolese art, one artist stands out as a true gem, often referred to as the "green diamond" of the artistic community. His work captivates audiences with a masterful blend of vivid colors and profound themes that resonate deeply within the viewer's soul.

Born in 1971 in Djambala ( Plateaux), Republic of Congo, Opou Adam, is an alumna of the prestigious painting school of Poto Poto in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo. The artist has been dubbed an “out-of-the-ordinary artist.” He oscillates between realism and cubic styles, thus attracting art lovers from across the globe.
In his artwork, the talented Opou Adam is famous for using the following colors to convey the message to his audience: Yellow for the warmth of the sun, the strength of truth in blue ( Bozinga) to illustrate Joy, nobility, faithfulness, loyalty, and softness.
Mr. Opou is the painter of "The Maidservant" (2022, 2023, 2024) and “Chief Warrior” (2024).

YVES MOKOMBA
In the vibrant landscape of Congolese art, Yves MOKOMBA stands out for his unique vision and captivating style, often referred to as the "brown diamond." His work glimmers with the depth and richness of his heritage, reflecting the complex narratives of identity, resilience, and cultural pride.

Born in 1963, in the Republic of Congo, Yves Mokomba is known for his natural pigments paintings of pre-colonial Congo in which he recounts the dynamics of pure traditional Congolese society in a very nostalgic tone. Often, his paintings are a mixture of mud, wood, clay, and gravel. A former student of the late emblematic Congolese artist, Michel Hengo, Mokombo defines his artistic aspirations as “ conserving the authenticity of primitive Congolese Art.”
